The 7th Zagreb Design Week will take place in the Nikola Tesla Technical Museum on September 1-6, the organisers announced earlier this week.
This year’s theme is the “new normal” in the context of the global coronavirus pandemic which has forced people to radically change their lives.
Zagreb Design Week 2020 Explores the ‘New Normal’
On show will be the best-designed products available on the Croatian market, including furniture, clothing, jewellery and toys. Visitors will also be able to see world and Croatian premiers of new products and buy furniture designed by some of the world’s best designers at discount prices.
The ZGDW Award will become international for the first time and will be presented in six categories – Graphic Design, Digital Communications and Interaction Design, Product Design, Space Design, Textile and Fashion Design, and Social Innovation Design. The finalists of the ZGDW Award 2020 will present their products at an exhibition and the winners will be announced by an international jury.
