Yunus Textile Mills Limited (YTML), the premier home textile exporter in Pakistan, has announced a restructuring of its US operations. Royale Linens (a wholly owned subsidiary of YTML) will be rebranded as “Yunus USA”, with a significant increase in its responsibilities and operations.
Previously Royale Linens was responsible for US replenishment businesses only. Under the new structure, the members of the US team will take the lead on sales and marketing for both the US domestic replenishment as well as the Yunus FOB businesses.
Industry veteran Jeff Kambak will be joining the company as President, charged with building a significantly larger team in the US to drive the business through strategic partnerships with key retailers. Kambak has spent the last 8 years as CEO of US Operations at Trident.
He previously held senior leadership roles at WestPoint Stevens, MindsinSync and Li and Fung USA. “Yunus is an exceptionally stable organization, with an impeccable track record in innovation, quality, and customer service” Kambak states. Adding “Increasing the responsibilities of the US organization will be a key factor in the continued growth of Yunus Textiles oversees operations”.
YTML CEO Hasan Tabba added, “as the post-pandemic world opened up, it became clear to us we needed to increase our US presence, and add more senior people to our US operation. Adding Jeff and his team will allow us additional and more frequent touch points with our customers and enable us to realize continued growth in the US market”. COO Nisar Palla concluded:
