Printing Expo, April 2021 – printing-expo.online is delighted to welcome two more leading companies on board – this time from opposite ends of the globe – Eurotech from Australia and Grafitec from the UK. Both companies will occupy premium space in Zone 1 of the virtual exhibition.
The Eurotech stand has been designed and built from scratch by the Printing Expo team. Grafitec’s stand has been adapted using the company’s own 3D design and concept.
Eurotech Australia, is a leading manufacturer of premium signage accessories and supplies and Grafitec is the UK’s largest stockist of used and reconditioned quality bindery and finishing machinery.
Eurotech Director, Michael Smith says, “Eurotech Australia is now exhibiting at its 1st global trade show…and it’s all online! We are delighted to be able to participate in printing-expo.online. With different travel rules in place in different places around the globe, we believe that the online experience is now in a prime position to offer an alternative and unique experience to traditional in-person exhibitions.
Eurotech is a strong believer in both the physical and the virtual presentation of products and services. Printing Expo’s virtual exhibition has many advantages for us, not least the opportunities for engagement. When its virtual, its 24/7, 365 days of the year. It’s not just directors and managers attending as it would generally be at a live exhibition – whole business teams can attend. Wherever you are in the world, this is an opportunity to easily discover what’s new in the signage market.
Eurotech is attending Printing Expo to empower global sign-makers with unique and innovative products and production methods. Whether you are a sign-maker in Australia or a sign-maker or distributor of sign-making supplies in the northern hemisphere, we look forward to meeting with you…virtually!”
Grafitec’s primary aim has been to promote its name and products globally and one of its main marketing strategies has been the attendance of industry exhibitions around the world. Chris Barrett, Owner and Managing Director says, “Many companies have been affected by the global pandemic. Most will have adapted their strategy, with companies adopting Zoom and Microsoft teams as their method of attending meetings. The obvious progression is to attempt a similar scenario with a digital “virtual” exhibition. For us now, ‘virtual’ is the only way.
We discussed the possibilities with Wayne Beckett and Chris Watson at Printing Expo and we could instantly see the sales and marketing opportunities that this innovative platform would offer. The design and implementation of the project was certainly less stressful than the real thing. We wanted something as close to a real exhibition experience for our customers, so we needed to showcase our machines and have a walkthrough layout of the stand that was informative and simple to navigate, while retaining similarities, and giving the feel of an extension to our own website.”
Grafitec Plc has for many years been a market leader in the used machinery sector, especially in the Bindery, Finishing and Label production markets. Chris Barrett continues, “2021 is yet another year which will enable us to provide the service and expertise this market has come to expect. Many businesses have been affected by the global pandemic but Grafitec has stayed strong and adapted its working strategies. Because of the large engineering work space we occupy, our company has been able to continue its full operation while maintaining social distancing and safety guidelines. The majority of our admin staff are working from home, which on reflection has worked very well. Now with the Printing Expo initiative we continue to engage with our customers in the UK and around the world.”
With over 24,000 visitors to date from over 160 countries, Printing Expo’s innovative virtual show is proving to be of great interest to a diversity of printers and suppliers worldwide. Feedback states that Printing Expo’s 3D visual browsing experience is bridging the gap perfectly between the physical and the virtual for many in the global printing community. This unique online exhibition has been designed on a ‘real world’ scale bringing true reality to every physical aspect. Visitors can explore a complete virtual exhibition hall and benefit from all that a live show offers. The opportunities are limitless. Don’t let reality hold you back!
