Wisdom-Greentech and Trützschler Advance Partnership with World-First 4.2m Ultra-High-Speed ATB Line

Trützschler has further strengthened its long-standing cooperation with Wisdom-Greentech through the signing of a new agreement for a world-first ultra-high-speed 4.2-meter Air-Through-Bonding (ATB) production line.

The agreement marks a significant milestone not only in the partnership between the two companies but also in the evolution of high-performance nonwoven production for the maternal, infant, and child care sector, as well as broader hygiene applications including feminine and adult care products.

A New Benchmark in Nonwoven Production Efficiency

The newly developed 4.2-meter ATB line represents a major leap in production capability. Designed with a working width of 4.2 meters and an operational speed of up to 200 meters per minute, the system is expected to deliver substantial gains in both productivity and efficiency.

Compared to conventional 2.5-meter and 3-meter lines, the new system effectively doubles production capacity. Even when measured against standard 4.2-meter lines, the ultra-high-speed configuration achieves higher output levels while maintaining consistent product quality—offering manufacturers a competitive edge through reduced production costs and improved operational performance.

This latest installation will become the 14th Trützschler ATB line deployed by Wisdom-Greentech, underlining the depth and continuity of the collaboration.

Driving Innovation Through Strategic Collaboration

The partnership between Trützschler and Wisdom-Greentech has consistently pushed technological boundaries in the thermobonding segment. As the core supplier of carding and web-forming systems for Wisdom-Greentech’s production lines, Trützschler has played a central role in enabling multiple industry-first developments.

Key milestones in their collaboration include:

  • 2022: Launch of the world’s first 3.8m single/double-purpose back-to-back double carding ATB line
  • 2024: Introduction of a 3.8m double carding line featuring an advanced middle silo blending system
  • 2025: Deployment of the first 4.2m width double carding thermobonding line
  • 2026: Development of the world’s first ultra-high-speed 4.2m thermobonding production line

This steady progression highlights a shared commitment to innovation and continuous improvement in nonwoven manufacturing technologies.

Supporting the Growth of High-End Hygiene Markets

The latest agreement is expected to support the rapid expansion of high-end hygiene product markets, where demand for quality, consistency, and large-scale production is increasing. By combining German engineering expertise with China’s advanced manufacturing ecosystem, the collaboration exemplifies the growing importance of cross-border technological partnerships.

For Wisdom-Greentech, the investment reinforces its strategy to scale production capacity while maintaining a strong focus on premium product segments. For Trützschler, it further consolidates its position as a key technology partner in the global nonwovens industry.
With additional developments already anticipated in the coming years, the partnership signals continued momentum in redefining production standards for nonwoven materials worldwide.
