The next edition of Texworld New York City and Apparel Sourcing New York City will be held this summer on July 18 – 20, 2023 at the Javits Center. This edition will also feature our Homes Textile Sourcing Expo and our new co-located show Printsource, which made its debut in winter 2023. Texworld New York City now includes an additional product category featuring finished footwear and components called Global Footwear Sourcing.
Could you please share with us all events and exhibitions of Messe Frankfurt USA in the textile and apparel sector?
Texworld New York City and Apparel Sourcing New York City, Home Textiles Sourcing and our new show, Texworld Los Angeles and Apparel Sourcing Los Angeles is launching July 25-26th at the California Market Center.
We announced the launch of the LA show in February, enabling our exhibitors to connect with US buyers on the West Coast to expand their market reach in the U.S.
Texworld New York City and Apparel Sourcing New York City have a wide range of high-quality fabrics, trims, accessories and finished apparel. This Summer 2023 Edition will also feature Home Textiles Sourcing Expo aside co-located show, Printsource – across all 4 co-located shows, we offer more than 60 product categories.
What is the reason that Newyork city is a great place for organizing textile and apparel exhibitions? Could you please share with is some statistics from USA textile and apparel market size?
According to NYC.gov, New York is home to more headquarters of fashion designers and fashion retailers than any other city in the United States. New York City’s fashion industry employs 180,000 people, accounting for 6% of the city’s workforce and generating $10.9 billion in total wages.
An estimated 900 fashion companies are headquartered in New York City, which is also home to more than 75 major fashion trade shows and thousands of showrooms.
Please share with us a short report from the last edition of the Texworld NYC fair.
For the Winter 2023 Edition of Texworld New York City we had a total of 323 exhibitors from 17+ countries. 89% were international and 11% were domestic. There were 3,500+ visitors – 90% domestic and 10% international. Our new and improved virtual platform had 4,900 active users.
Why textile companies in the textile and apparel sector should exhibit in this exhibition?
More than just sourcing, the exhibition is a forum for the industry to learn and stay up-to-date on the latest innovations, trends, and in-depth educational programs designed to offer insightful and informative sessions for every role and level for experience across all segments of the industry.

In every edition of Texworld NYC and Apparel Sourcing NYC we have an expansive educational series including Textile Talks and the Lenzing Seminar Series. They offer an impressive speaker line-up tailored to industry topics.
Sustainability and recycling is one of the most important subjects these days in the textile sector, what is Texworld NYC’s fair policy in this case?
We value sustainability and pride ourselves in having international exhibitors who do the same. It is visible throughout our shows that a focus on sustainability is happening from a manufacturing standpoint. We also dedicate a specialized itinerary to our exhibitors with eco and small quantity certifications.

Texworld Evolution NYC is continuing to expand our product categories as well as our locations. This summer the Texworld Los Angeles and Apparel Sourcing Los Angeles show will give exhibitors and visitors a new experience. We would also like to highlight our new and continued partnerships, especially Printsource, the leading textile and surface design show in the US. It made its debut this winter and garnered a lot of attention. It is a must-see for fashion and home textile executives
