OEKO-TEX® Partners with EURATEX to Strengthen European Textile Industry

In a significant step toward greater collaboration and sustainability in Europe’s textile sector, OEKO-TEX® has officially joined forces with EURATEX, the European Apparel and Textile Confederation. This new partnership is expected to enhance transparency, foster innovation, and build resilience across the European textile value chain.

Welcoming the development, EURATEX Managing Director Dirk Vantyghem stated:
“EURATEX is delighted to welcome OEKO-TEX® as a partner. This collaboration will strengthen the European textile industry by reinforcing the importance of industry-wide cooperation and shared progress.”

With a long-standing reputation in textile safety, sustainability, and certification, OEKO-TEX® will now support EURATEX’s mission to develop a more competitive and sustainable industry. The alliance will focus on boosting consumer trust, promoting policy engagement, and driving sustainable innovation throughout the sector.

Known for its globally recognised certification systems such as STANDARD 100, MADE IN GREEN, and STeP, OEKO-TEX® brings powerful tools to ensure product safety, traceability, and environmental responsibility—from raw material sourcing to finished goods.

Both organisations are united by shared values of responsibility, innovation, and sustainability, marking this partnership as a pivotal milestone in transforming Europe’s textile and fashion landscape toward a greener future.
