11th Tehran International Floor Covering and Machine made Carpet Exhibition 2019 brought together the leaders of the flooring sector on 13-16 September 2019 with the support of the Tehran Chamber of Commerce, Iran international exhibition centre and Iran Trade Promotion Organization (TPO).
In 2019, 142 exhibitors presented their innovative products and designs that combine modern and traditional lines in 13900 sqm net area.
Tehran International Floor Covering and Machine made Carpet exhibition
The 11th edition of the International Floor Covering, Moquette, Machine-made Carpet, and Related Industries exhibition was recently wrapped up in the Iranian capital of Tehran.
Some 142 domestic and foreign companies displayed their most recent products during the four-day event held International Exhibition Fairground, Tehran.
more than 13000 local and international professional visitor visited the latest products and technologies in the carpet and flooring industry.
Iranian people and Middle East and North Africa traders and buyers have always shown great passion toward the carpet industry and considered it as a work of art.
Iran exports carpets to at least 70 countries in the world. Experts attribute the increasingly lucrative market for Persian carpets worldwide to its quality, colour and design.
Carpet weaving is one of the most distinguished manifestations of Persian culture and art, which dates back to ancient Persia.
Persian carpets, in particular, the hand-woven and machine-made products, often feature geometric patterns which are a reflection of Islamic influences, although many Persian rugs depict natural scenes of animal and plant wildlife.
