• The fair, which will be located in Hall 6, will be a special event aimed at reviving the fashion industry in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic
• The Fair is taking a step forward and opting for a hybrid format, combining the physical display of the collections with the integration of a marketplace to facilitate digital commerce
MOMAD, the International Textile, Footwear and Accessories Show, launches the call for exhibitors for its next fair, which will take place from 18 to 20 September 2020, in Hall 6 at IFEMA. This MOMAD 2020 will be a very special event, since it will dedicate all its efforts to reviving the fashion industry.
MOMAD is, therefore, deploying all its assets so that the fair can support the sector through a new hybrid format. This hybrid model will have a space dedicated to the physical exhibition of the collections, combined with a marketplace to facilitate digital commerce.
In the words of the fair’s director, Julia González, “MOMAD will be held with one fundamental objective: to support the sector at this vital moment that is so important for the progress of our industry. Which is why MOMAD is taking a step forward”.
Return to activity. IFEMA, a safe space
IFEMA, before the imminent return of its fair activity, which is scheduled for September, is reinforcing its safety with protocols and cutting-edge technology to guarantee a ‘safe space’ at the exhibition centre. Numerous innovations in prevention and protection are, therefore, being worked on by the Health and Safety Control Unit (UCS) that was recently created by IFEMA. All the measures carried out by IFEMA to fully guarantee the health and safety of its exhibitors, visitors, suppliers and employees can be seen here.
