RTS Textiles and Pincroft to Showcase Next-Generation FR Fabrics at Techtextil 2026

At Techtextil 2026 in Frankfurt, RTS Textiles will present a fully integrated textile manufacturing and finishing offering in collaboration with Pincroft, highlighting advancements in inherent flame-retardant (FR) fabric development.

Located in Hall 9, Stand F03, the joint presence brings together fabric engineering, dyeing, printing, and advanced finishing technologies within a single platform, reflecting a growing industry shift toward vertically integrated solutions in technical textiles.

New Generation of Inherent FR Fabrics

A key highlight of the showcase will be the introduction of a new generation of inherent FR fabrics, developed using advanced fibre technologies such as Lenzing FR and XLANCE.

The collection features proprietary fibre blends engineered from the fibre stage to deliver a combination of durability, wearer comfort, and long-term protective performance. According to the companies, these developments represent a significant step forward in inherent FR fabric engineering, particularly in maintaining permanent flame-retardant properties throughout the garment lifecycle.

The new fabrics are designed to meet evolving demands in protective clothing, where performance requirements increasingly extend beyond compliance to include comfort, flexibility, and durability in use.

Integrated Finishing Expertise

Alongside material innovation, Pincroft will demonstrate its capabilities as a specialist in textile finishing, with a strong focus on flame-retardant applications. Its technical services include controlled dyeing, precision rotary screen printing, and the application of functional finishes such as permethrin-based insect repellents.

The company manages the full production process in-house—from artwork development and digital file preparation to rotary screen engraving—allowing for greater consistency, traceability, and quality control. This integrated approach is particularly relevant for sectors such as defence, workwear, and high-performance technical textiles, where reliability and repeatability are critical.

Integrated Supply Chain Approach

As part of RTS Textiles, the collaboration highlights the increasing importance of end-to-end solutions in the textile industry. By combining fibre innovation with finishing expertise, the companies aim to provide garment manufacturers and buyers with streamlined access to advanced materials supported by controlled production processes.

This model aligns with broader industry trends toward supply chain consolidation, where reducing complexity and ensuring performance consistency are becoming key competitive factors.

Focus on Technical Textile Innovation

The joint presentation at Techtextil 2026 underscores the continued evolution of the technical textiles sector, particularly in areas such as protective fabrics and functional performance materials. As regulatory standards tighten and end-user expectations increase, innovation at both the fibre and finishing stages is becoming essential.

By introducing new inherent FR blends alongside integrated finishing capabilities, RTS Textiles and Pincroft position themselves within a segment of the market focused on high-performance, application-driven textile solutions.
