Ready to Show 2024 to Feature Special Turkish Section After IFCO Impressions

Following a recent visit to the Istanbul Fashion Connection (IFCO) exhibition, Georges PAPA, the organizer of Ready to Show, announced a new addition to the upcoming trade show in Milan. Impressed by the quality and competitiveness of Turkish garment manufacturers, particularly in womenswear and menswear, PAPA has decided to dedicate a special section to Turkish exhibitors at the 2024 Ready to Show event.

The event, scheduled for September 14-17, 2024, at Fiera Milano-Rho, is recognized as Italy’s premier contract clothing trade show. Ready to Show has long served as a critical platform for international apparel, accessory, textile, and leather manufacturers to connect directly with major Italian and European buyers. The new Turkish section will be located in Hall 10, strategically placed next to the podium for fashion shows and conferences, and directly in front of the bar area.

“We don’t have room for more than 10 exhibitors, but this will provide Italian and international buyers with an introduction to the Turkish market,” PAPA shared. “It will also set the stage for a more substantial participation in February 2025. Both prêt-à-porter and casualwear have the potential to win over top Italian clients.”

PAPA also highlighted the favorable minimum order quantities (M.O.Qs) offered by Turkish manufacturers, making them an attractive option for Italian brands and distributors. As usual, Ready to Show will organize B2B meetings during the last two weeks leading up to the event to facilitate meaningful business connections.

The fully equipped booths, even in smaller dimensions, will ease the setup process for exhibitors. Additionally, Ready to Show has established a special connection with the Italian Embassy and Consulate in Istanbul to expedite visa processing for participants, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.

Ready to Show 2024 promises to be an exciting and valuable event, further enhanced by the introduction of Turkish exhibitors, reflecting the ongoing evolution of global fashion sourcing.
