Isfahan textile industry needs more support from the authorities in various ways

The head of the General Department of Mining Industry and Trade of Isfahan said: the textile industry is important for this province in various ways and needs support, and the officials should definitely follow up their problems with the support of activists in this field.

Amir Hossein Komili in the meeting of the textile association of the Isfahan province added: Textile is considered as one of the main sectors of Isfahan industries and has a high extent in this province and like handmade carpets has high importance and value. There are large and capable complex in the field of the textile industry in Isfahan province that is brands and indicators

There are many textile complexes in this area that attract a wide range of people and create many jobs, and usually, these workshops provide livelihoods for the middle to lower class.

Habibollah Shah Karami – Chairman of the Board of Directors of Isfahan Province Textile Employers Association also said: 40% of Iran’s textile industry is located in Isfahan Province.

2,240 textile licenses have been issued in the province, and out of a total of 9,000 industrial licenses issued in the province, about 25% of the licenses issued by the industry, Mining, and Trade organizations are related to the textiles and garment sector.

He continued by stating that there are 6,000 workshop and worker weavers in Isfahan province: the textile industry in Isfahan province has become localized and established, and with the spread of this industry in this region, other businesses are also flourishing.

75% of machine-made carpets, 60% of woven fabrics, 50% of synthetic fibers, 90% of bands and gas, and 90% of Iranian scarves are produced in Isfahan province.

Isfahan with a population of more than five million, about 9,000 small and large production units with a capital of 221,000 billion rials and employment of 263,000 people, about 840 mines in operation with an investment of more than 10,000 billion rials, is the most industrialized province in the country.
