more than 12000 local and international professional visitor visited the latest products and technologies in the carpet and flooring industry.

Iranian people and the Middle East and North Africa traders and buyers have always shown great passion toward the carpet industry and considered it as a work of art.

Iran exports carpets to at least 70 countries in the world. Experts attribute the increasingly lucrative market for Persian carpets worldwide to its quality, colour and design.

Carpet-weaving is one of the most distinguished manifestations of Persian culture and art, which dates back to ancient Persia.

Persian carpets, in particular, the hand-woven products, often feature geometric patterns which are a reflection of Islamic influences, although many Persian rugs depict natural scenes of animal and plant wildlife.
