Heimtextil, the leading international trade fair for home and contract textiles, will unveil a redesigned layout for its 2026 edition, placing a stronger emphasis on the rapidly growing Smart Bedding category. The event will be held from January 13 to 16, 2026, at Messe Frankfurt.
A major highlight of the revamped format is the new Sleep & Meet area, which will occupy approximately 25% of Hall 4.0. This dedicated zone will bring together key suppliers catering to volume retail, bedding retail, and hospitality sectors, offering a dynamic space for networking, product discovery, and business development.
Several renowned German mattress and bedding brands are set to make their first-time appearance at Heimtextil in 2026, including Auping Germany, Bettwaren Stendebach, Erich Werkmeister, ergomed, Femira, Rummel, and Schwarzwald Schlafsysteme. Industry giant EuroComfort Group—featuring Badenia, Brinkhaus, Lück, and fan frankenstolz—will significantly increase their exhibition space.
Olaf Schmidt, Vice President of Textiles & Textile Technologies at Messe Frankfurt, emphasized the strategic importance of the expansion:
“The new layout offers the ideal framework for establishing new business relationships, recognizing trends early, and gaining fresh inspiration for product development.”
The German trade association Matratzen-Industrie will also maintain its presence with a dedicated stand, spotlighting the innovation and diversity of German mattress manufacturers to an international audience.
With the Smart Bedding segment gaining global momentum, Heimtextil 2026 aims to serve as a key platform for innovation, collaboration, and insight in the sleep solutions space.
