Engineered Floors recently launched a new commercial polyester fiber, Advanced Polyester Extrusion–Apex SDP. This fiber will be offered through its commercial brand, Pentz Commercial Flooring Solutions.
“Apex SDP is the first PET designed and engineered for commercial applications,” said James Lesslie, executive vice president of sales and marketing at Engineered Floors. “From its very beginning, Engineered Floors has developed and exclusively used solution—dyed fiber for all its products, starting with its own PureColor fiber.”
The offering includes the styles Revival and Revolution, which join the original Apex SDP styles Quicksilver and Fast Break. All of these products offer lifetime warranties on stain removal, static, and colorfastness to light and atmospheric contaminants. Paired with its Nexus modular backing system, the warranties also include tuft bind, delamination, edge ravel, zippering and dimensional stability.
