About DOMOTEX Middle East April 2024
The 2024 edition marked the return of the international carpet and flooring exhibition to Dubai after 13 years. Organized at Dubai World Trade Centre, the event was developed as an annual business platform for the growing carpet and flooring market across the Middle East and MENA region.
The exhibition brought manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, retailers, architects, designers and flooring professionals together to discover new collections, discuss market developments and establish business relationships.
The return to Dubai responded to demand from the region’s construction, real estate, interior design and flooring sectors for a centrally located international exhibition platform.
According to the official event announcement published by Deutsche Messe, the April 2024 event also marked the beginning of a new annual exhibition platform for the regional market.
Flooring Products and Business Opportunities
The exhibition covered a broad selection of product categories, including handmade carpets, machine-made rugs, textile floor coverings, wall-to-wall carpets, parquet, laminate flooring, luxury vinyl tiles, resilient flooring, fibres, yarns and installation technologies.
International and regional suppliers used the three-day event to introduce traditional craftsmanship, contemporary designs, sustainable materials and new manufacturing technologies.
Dubai’s international transport network, modern exhibition infrastructure and position as a major commercial centre provided access to buyers from the Gulf countries, the wider Middle East, Africa and international markets.
