International textile manufacturer Camira has launched a suite of digital design tools to assist architects and designers in incorporating Pantone’s Colour of the Year, Mocha Mousse into their interior design projects.
Using artificial intelligence and three-dimensional design software, Camira has integrated a digital moodboard creator, a 3D furniture visualiser and an AI reverse image application into its existing website. The toolkit allows design professionals to craft Mocha Mousse inspired flat lays, discover corresponding fabrics and preview the Colour of the Year for 2025 on 3D furniture models.
Commenting on the launch of the digital toolkit, head of digital at Camira, Sam Birkhead commented: “We’re really pleased to be able to offer architects and designers interactive tools, just in time for the launch of Pantone Colour of the Year. Our goal is to make finding fabrics easier – this intuitive software speeds up the specification process, saving time on research and enabling professionals to quickly identify products that match their exact needs.
He continued, “Mocha Mousse is a stunning colourway for hospitality and resimmercial interiors – we’re excited to see how our digital tools bring this beautiful hue to life.”
Inspired by the familiar comforts of chocolate and coffee, Mocha Mousse balances nostalgia with a modern freshness. Laurie Pressman, Vice President of the Pantone Color Institute, describes the colourway as “a mellow brown hue whose inherent richness and sensorial warmth taps into our need for comfort and the enjoyment of simple pleasures we can share with others.”
