Domotex Turkey will bring together the national and international carpet industry. In addition to machine woven carpets which hold a significant share in export, hand-woven carpets representing the Turkish culture, rugs, textile flooring, mats, fibers and yarns, resilient floor coverings, laminate and carpet machinery, and accessories have been presented in the exhibition.
Organized by Hannover Fairs Turkey in cooperation with Gaziantep Chamber of Commerce (GTO), Southeastern Anatolia Carpet Exporters’ Union (GAIB) and Gaziantep Chamber of Carpet Producers (GHO), the trade fair will bring together the leading brands of the industry under a single roof.
DOMOTEX-Turkey hosted 195 exhibitors in 2018 in 22000 sqm area. Not only with its exhibitors but also its visitors, it offered an international gathering. DOMOTEX Turkey 2018 hosted 11,951 visitors. It means an increase of 30 % compared to the edition in 2017. The exhibition provided an important platform for exhibitors to meet buyers from more than 89 countries especially from the Middle East and Africa.
DOMOTEX Turkey, where among others pioneer firms of the sector participate, displays the strength of Turkey and especially Gaziantep in machine-made carpet manufacturing. Besides that the high number of international visitors prove that DOMOTEX Turkey gains more and more importance for not only Turkey but for the whole Middle Eastern region as well.
