carpet design awards 2021 winnersHannover, Germany—The winners of the Carpet Design Awards 2021 were presented for the 16th time in front of a digital audience on May 20, 2021.
A total of nine designers and carpet entrepreneurs were honored with the industry award. The winners had previously been selected by a top-class jury of experts from the design and carpet industry.
The award winners are considered exceptional examples in the industry that combine design, quality and craftmanship to a special degree, according to group organizers.
With the new category “Best Emerging Designer,” the Carpet Design Awards 2021 honored outstanding young designers for the first time together with the Scottish NGO Turquoise Mountain.
The awards, presented in collaboration with the magazines Cover and Hali, have celebrated the best in contemporary carpet design for more than 15 years and reflect the industry’s innovation and trends, Domotex organizers said. Selection criteria included design and design concept, material, execution, structure and quality and as sustainability and branding.
The Carpet Design Awards 2022 will once again take place during Domotex, taking place here, from January 13-16 in 2022.
