Home appliance store chain “Beko” has introduced the renowned Turkish household textile brand Ozdilek to the Georgian market in response to soaring demand. Mehmed Melek, the company’s director, revealed during a visit to the TV program “Women’s Narrative” that this decision was prompted by extensive market research highlighting a robust appetite for family textiles.
“Recognizing the market’s fervent demand for household textiles, especially those of exceptional quality, we opted to import Ozdilek, one of Turkey’s top three producers in this sector. The superior quality of Ozdilek’s products made it a natural choice,” Melek stated.
Initially available solely at the Batumi branch of “Beko,” Ozdilek products will soon be rolled out across additional branches. Plans are also underway to inaugurate dedicated Ozdilek stores in both Tbilisi and Batumi.
“The enthusiastic response to the brand has paved the way for expanding our presence. We’re contemplating Ozdilek stores in Tbilisi and Rustavi, alongside integrating the brand into existing ‘Beko’ outlets. This venture entails an initial investment of USD 500,000 for the launch of 3 or 4 stores,” Melek explained.
Melek emphasized the diversity of Ozdilek products available at “Beko” stores, catering to consumers of all ages and genders. Notably, the affordability of Ozdilek’s offerings ensures accessibility to a wide customer base. “Beko” has been a stalwart presence in the Georgian market for 25 years, and the introduction of Ozdilek signifies an exciting new chapter in its offerings to customers.
