During Techtextil in Frankfurt, Germany, 300 participants from more than 80 different nonwoven manufacturers had the opportunity to see our new T-SUPREMA needle-punching line at the Nonwovens Customer and Technical Center (NCTC) in Egelsbach.
Let us summarize the most important key facts of this experience:
Using two different blends of colored fibers from 0.9 to 6.7 dtex, we demonstrated the strength of our T-SUPREMA fiber opening/blending and NC carding power. Plain white or black hides many defects in the web and the final nonwoven.
T-SUPREMA smoothly processed the grey 35 gsm needle felt at over 25 m/min with only 2 vertical T-SUPREMA looms. One secret is T-SUPREMA’s fantastic web homogeneity, appearance, and strength provided by high-performance Trützschler card clothings on fiber opener, NC card and web drafter. The second secret is Texnology’s high-speed low-vibration T-SUPREMA pre-needling technology.
The blue 23 folds 1400 gsm impressively demonstrated the absolutely even web delivery of our T-SUPREMA crosslapper whatever the requirement. It underlines that T-SUPREMA needlelooms can easily and reliably handle any web weight and are suitable for any application.
Finally: the product changeover from lightweight to heavyweight product took less than 60 minutes. With a T-SUPREMA line, scheduling production orders and producing a wide range of nonwovens on a single line can be done in an instant.
We have collected many impressions from this event – see for yourself in this video:
