Day 1: Opening Day Success!
Texworld New York City and Apparel Sourcing New York City welcomed thousands of industry professionals to the first day of the Winter 2024 Edition. Attendees experienced a full day of global sourcing, educational seminars, a deep dive into the future of fashion, sustainability, and much more!
TEXWORLD NYC Displays All New Features!
Today we showcased remarkable special features that elevated the sourcing event’s success. The Next-Gen Innovation Hub presented innovative and sustainable fiber alternatives, leaving attendees inspired about the future of textile sourcing.
Arsutoria’s Leather Trend area highlighted the latest in leather goods, including accessories and footwear, while providing valuable insights into industry trends. The Seams Pavilion, a new addition, played a pivotal role in promoting ‘MADE IN AMERICA,’ showcasing the strength of U.S. manufacturing. These highlights left attendees informed and connected, making Texworld NYC is a must-attend for the global textile and apparel sourcing community.
Avilion Highlights
The ITO Turkish Pavilion returned bringing in a total of 8 companies that showcased Türkiye’s textile excellence and rich heritage, leaving attendees inspired. The Korean Pavilion brought 28 companies to New York City, while also providing attendees with 140+ knits, wovens, prints, faux leather, velvets, and more! Lastly, our successful partnership with SEAMS, the foremost Association and Voice of the U.S. Sewn Products Industry, brought their pavilion, which included 4 companies who are committed to making domestic supply soar in the world of textile and apparel.
Attendees left with a wealth of insights, having experienced the success of these pavilions, making Texworld NYC an indispensable event for both international and domestic textile and apparel sourcing.

Education Highlights
The first day of our education seminar series kicked off with Sabrina Blackburn, Business Development Manager at PeclersParis, as she led an engaging talk and unveiled four key seasonal moods and exclusive colors. The talk also aimed to inspire attendees with insights into S/S’25 trends for creative integration possibilities.
Next was an Explore the Floor Tour from Fashion Mingle’s CEO and Co-Founder, Melissa Shea as she led participants through the show floor and provided unique tools into the latest innovations in the industry. Following the Explore the Floor Tour we had Lenzing take the Textile Talk stage as they gave attendees key policy measures impacting the fashion industry.
The panel delve into the impact of EU legislation and other global sustainability initiatives, shedding light on how these regulations influence industry strategies and operations.

Join us tomorrow for our second day filled with networking, global sourcing, and product discovery. To continue our thought-provoking educational seminar series, Kai Chow, Creative Director at Doneger/TOBE will be giving his insights on his creative direction for color, trend, and textile and apparel concepts with a deeper understanding of the key messages for Spring/Summer 2025.
