A Brand New AQUARIA and Airo Are the Winning Cards of Biancalani at ITMA Milano

Interview with Biancalani Textile Machinery

First of all please let us know about Biancalani Textile participation at ITMA 2023 Milan. Do you have any new technology to exhibit in ITMA for first time?

Biancalani Textile Machinery will be participating in ITMA Milan 2023 and present two innovative textile machineries: a brand-new AQUARIA, the breakthrough core of the line AQUARIA that has been designed to reduce water and energy consumption.
There will also be on display a new continuous open-width drying machinery in line with Biancalani’s philosophy that allows both to dry and soften the fabrics reducing energy consumption while significantly increasing productivity and efficiency. Both new technologies are going to be unveiled on June 8th in Milan.

The Biancalani technicians present on Booth A202 in Hall 18 will also be able to give you information on all the other productions of the Tuscan company, starting from the famous AIRO  to the fulling machines, to the free modular dryers that are partners of any other finishing machine.

Presenting A Brand New AQUARIA

Biancalani range of products and machinery for the textile finishing industry includes the AQUARIA® open-width tumble washing and wet treatments range, which can be combined with classical items such as before and after washing modules. In addition to new machinery for continuous open-width drying, softening, and finishing will also be exhibited.

Sustainability and recycling is an important subjects for textile manufacturers all around the world, what is Biancalani Textile’s sustainability policy?

Biancalani Textile Machinery is always extremely attentive to sustainability, both in the production and testing processes of its machines/lines and in the execution of the processes themselves. Processes such as eco-bleach, organic washing (scouring), and washing after-print.

Eco-bleach is a bleaching process that uses biodegradable substances instead of pollutants, while organic washing (scouring) takes care of removing oils from polyester fabrics using natural detergents instead of chemical solvents. Washing after-print in AQUARIA® offers very important savings: the water and energy savings are truly enormous. Without delving into AIRO®24, which has always performed all treatments only thanks to the use of high pressure and high-speed air.

Reducing production costs is a priority for all textile factories, how Biancalani machinery can help manufacturers in this field?

Biancalani machinery and lines allow manufacturers to optimize their processes and reduce energy consumption while increasing productivity and efficiency. This can lead to cost savings, anticipating processing time and improving the quality of textile products.

Digitalization is a great step to creating a common language to achieve more productivity and simplicity. How do you implement digitalization in textile machinery production? And why it is important?

Biancalani has implemented digitalization on its textile machinery produced in order to accompany customers in an ecological and economical path to reduce production costs and make easier process control so that to achieve more productivity and simplicity.

Furthermore, at any time the users of Biancalani machines can take advantage of the online support of expert technicians to further optimize the operation of the machines and their production programs. This support has allowed for the development of new processes that have proven how AQUARIA® and AIRO®24 transform traditional finishing processes with an eco-sustainable approach to textiles.

How do you predict the global textile machinery export market after ITMA 2023?

The global textile machinery export market is expected to be positive after ITMA 2023. The newly developed processes from Biancalani will help to reduce energy consumption and increase productivity and efficiency. But the future will be told us by the future!

How do you evaluate the Italian textile machinery manufacturer sector? How do you evaluate ITMA 2023 effect on Italian Textile machinery export?

The Italian textile machinery manufacturing sector is expected to be positively affected by ITMA 2023. The pandemic has brought about a profound change in rules and habits to the textile sector, like all other sectors. Digital acceleration has changed completely the approach to events and made all protagonists of a new era, made of virtual and hybrid experiences.

The return to presence with an event as important as the ITMA 2023 will improve interaction, engagement and networking and will bring tangible results immediately because there will be a great desire to see with one’s own eyes and touch the interesting news with one’s hands.

Furthermore, the Italian textile machinery manufacturing industry is among the most important and advanced in the world and will not fail to offer the textile sector its innovations and great performances to improve the textile production of the future.
