BGAPMEA to organise Gapexpo-2020 from January 15

Bangladesh Garments Accessories & Packaging Manufacturers & Exporters Association (BGAPMEA) jointly with ASK Trade & Exhibition and Zakaria Trade & Fair International, will present Gapexpo-2020, a garments accessories & packaging expo, showing products, machineries and raw materials, from January 15-18 at International Convention City, Bashundhara, Dhaka.

BGAPMEA represents about 1500 garments accessories & packaging industries of Bangladesh. Garments accessories & packaging industry act as a backward linkage industry of RMG sector which employs more than 400,000 people.

Gapexpo into its 11th edition is a marketing platform created for the benefit of BGAPMEA’s members to showcase their latest collection of accessories and packaging to large number of garment exporters, buying houses and buying agents who visit the show.

“Accessories form an integral part of the garment. As Bangladesh moves up the value chain accessories & packaging play an important part in enhancing the value of the garment. Gapexpo-2020 is platform created for our members to showcase their latest collections of accessories & packaging along with related raw material and machinery. BGAPMEA members are hereby invited to participate and benefit from effective sourcing platform. Gapexpo 2020 into its 11th edition is an effective marketing platform for the members of BGAPMEA to display their latest products & latest collection to the RMG exporters, other related exporters & buying houses who will be visiting the show. At the same time, it also acts as a platform for sourcing of machinery and raw materials,” said Md Abdul Kader Khan, president of BGAPMEA.

Turkish garment makers set eye on US market

BGAPMEA started its operation in the year 1989. The association is a non-profit trade organisation to safeguard the interest of garments accessories & packaging manufacturers & exporters of the country and represents about 1500 garments accessories & packaging industries of the country. The association is a member of the Asian Packaging Federation (APF) & also the World Packaging Organization (WPO).
