13 Bangladeshi RMG factories received ‘G. Güldenpfennig-RMG Times Best Practice Award 2019’

The 2nd edition of industry best practice award held recently in the title banner of ‘G. Güldenpfennig-RMG Times Best Practice Award 2019’, organized by The RMG Times in a restaurant at Uttara, Dhaka.

13 RMG factories of Bangladesh have been awarded in this year for their best industry practices, maintaining legal demands and working on the betterment of life standard for the workers and employees.

On the chair Abdul Alim, Editor of The RMG Times, and Mohiuddin Babar, CEO, BizCare was the chief guest in the ceremony while senior RMG professionals, BGMEA-BKMEA representatives, brand representatives, applicant factory delegates and NGOs/INGOs representatives of the country and beyond were present in the ceremony.

Online apparel news media, The RMG Times selected the winners through a respected Judges panel from the applicants. The 13 award receiving factories are Ananta Garments Ltd., Snowtex Outerwear Ltd., ACS Textiles (Bangladesh) Ltd., Comfit Composite Knit Ltd., Echotex Ltd., MG Niche Stitch Limited, Yasin Knittex Industries Limited, Tosrifa Industries Ltd, BRANDIX Casualwear Bangladesh Ltd., MAS Intimates Bangladesh (Pvt.) Ltd., Renaissance Group, Dekko Readywears Ltd. and AKH FASHIONS LTD.

Abdul Alim said –“The objective to organize the award on industry best practice was to tell the world that we are not the country of Rana Plaza and Tazreen Fashion only, we have the highest number of green garment factories in the world now.”

“Even we do have such factories, those applied for this award, who are doing a phenomenal job above the law to upgrade the living standard of the workers as well as positively impacting the society,” Alim added.
