Zimmer Austria, a leading machine manufacturer for digital printing, coating, steaming, drying, and functionalisation, and a broad range of sample, lab and washing machines, will show live pigment printing with Colaris printing technology, at FESPA global print expo 2018, to be held from May 15 to 18, 2018, in Berlin, Germany, in hall 2.1, stand A65.
Josef Osl sales manager at Zimmer Austria said, “This gives our customers every opportunity to achieve good fastnesses even in the home textiles market, for curtains, fabric bags or decorative articles. At the same time, outdoor applications are possible, from sun protection to tarpaulins. With our pigment inks (4 or 6 colours) together with the Colaris, we deliver reliable printing results with brilliant colours, as well as excellent light, friction and wash resistance.”
To cover all these application areas and all ink classes, Zimmer Austria uses various circulating inkjet print heads from the Fujifilm Dimatix StarFire SG1024 family for its Colaris range. This is particularly important for the pigment, disperse, or vat ink classes to ensure reliable production operation. The Colaris models range from compact sample machines up to a 4.20 metres wide system. All models are available in a variety of configurations between four and twelve colours, with a choice between reactive, acid, disperse, pigment or vat inks.
