According to the organizers, there were 204 exhibitors who displayed their products covering large variety of yarns, fabric as well as garments. Over 7000 delegates from all over India and abroad visited the show.

“During the 4 days trade event, over 654 B2B meetings took place, connecting the local manufacturers to the domestic and international buyers, face to face. This successful RBSM had a business transaction worth over Rs 450 crores. Moreover, 29 MOU’s with educational Institutions were signed in the presence of State Ministers to promote the collaboration among the rising talents from the colleges and connecting them with the regional manufactures for their design and product development requirements.” – Weaves 2018 spokesperson

10 member delegation of Federation of Buying Agents (FBA) from Delhi-NCR visited the fair. The members were happy with the event and liked the displayed fabrics.

“The organizers had not only designed the fair well but also taken care that the conferences being held parallel are equally instrumental and apt to the need of the hour. And we were able to meet some good companies.” – Ajay Kumar, member,  Federation of Buying Agents

He further added that through this event and Texvalley, we are in the direct reach of weaver and the weaving community gives both (buyers and sellers) a unique advantage for working in improving the product design and pricing.
