At the 5th edition of the Texhibition Istanbul Fabric, Yarn, and Textile Accessories Fair held in Istanbul, Türkiye’s textile industry showcased its capabilities and determination to thrive. Organized by prominent Turkish industry bodies and attended by stakeholders from various countries, the event aimed to foster collaborations and highlight Türkiye’s position in the global textile market.
According to the Istanbul Textile and Raw Materials Exporters’ Association (ITHIB), Türkiye ranks fifth in global textile exports, with annual exports exceeding $12 billion. It also holds the distinction of being the second-largest supplier to the EU. The industry’s success is attributed to its focus on high quality, innovation, and sustainability in production.
