Turkey’s revenues from textile and raw materials exports amounted to 6 billion and 119 million dollars during the first 7 months of this year.
According to the data of the Turkish Exporters Council, the growth rate of exports of the textile and raw materials sector amounted to 9.5 percent during the period between January – July 2022, compared to the same period last year.
In July alone, the sector’s exports amounted to $728 million, an increase of 0.7 percent compared to the same month last year. Accordingly, exports of textiles and raw materials broke the all-time record in its history.
As for the countries that imported the most Turkish products during the mentioned period, Italy ranked first with 635 million dollars, followed by the United States of America with 340 million dollars, and Spain with 323 million dollars. It is noteworthy that the total Turkish exports during the first 7 months of this year amounted to 144.4 billion dollars, an increase of 19.1 percent.
