Textile ETP Conference and General Assembly in April

Over 500 participants, including a number of local textile and clothing companies, are expected to attend the Annual Textile ETP Conference and General Assembly, to be held during April 28-30, 2020 in Portugal. It is the first time that the event is being organised outside Brussels. It provides an opportunity for the ETP to work closer to the industry.
The event will focus on the strategic innovation themes for textiles and clothing and how they link to the new Horizon Europe research and innovation framework programme starting in 2021.
The European Technology Platform for the Future of Textiles and Clothing works to ensure the long-term competitiveness of the European textile and clothing industry and to reinforce the position of Europe as a leading global player in the development and manufacturing of fibres, textiles, textile-based products and apparel.
The event will be held alongside the iTechStyle Summit 2020 – 4th International Conference on Textile and Clothing, organised by CITEVE – Technological Centre for the Textile and Clothing Industry of Portugal in collaboration with Associação Selectiva Moda, which is expected to bring together industry innovators, technology providers, researchers, clusters and other actors from the textile and clothing sector from across Europe.
