Savio Italy Unveils Groundbreaking Libra AirJet Spinning Machine

In an exciting development for the textile industry, Savio Italy has introduced its latest innovation, the Libra AirJet spinning machine. David Mercuri, the Head of Sales at Savio Italy, showcased the new machine, highlighting its advanced features and potential market impact.

The Libra AirJet spinning machine distinguishes itself with several key innovations. One of the most significant is the design of the spinning chamber, which directly influences the yarn production process. Mercuri explained that the machine’s “Coanda effect” system is crucial in producing high-quality yarn. Another standout feature is the multi-blend system, which allows for the creation of melange yarns with varying color blends. This system, managed entirely by software, ensures uniform color across up to 96 machine heads. Additionally, the machine can blend different yarn types, such as viscose and polyester, offering versatility in production.

The unveiling of the Libra AirJet machine has received an enthusiastic response, particularly from customers in Turkey. Turkey has long been a significant market for Savio, known for its leadership in winding machines and growing popularity in twisting technology. Savio is also developing an assembly winder, set to be available soon, to cater to the Turkish market’s diverse needs for both short and long-staple yarns. Initial feedback from Turkish customers who have started using the new machine has been very positive.

Savio’s market reach extends beyond Turkey. In the Middle East, the company has seen substantial success, especially in Iran. Iran, in particular, has emerged as a leading market for Savio’s twisting and winding machines, and there is optimism that it will soon lead in the AirJet segment with the Libra machine.

Africa represents a promising future market for Savio. Participation in ITME Africa last year resulted in significant customer interest. Savio machines are already operational in Northern and Eastern Africa. While the market is currently in a growth phase rather than a boom, the steady increase in demand bodes well for the future.

Overall, the introduction of the Libra AirJet spinning machine marks a significant milestone for Savio Italy, with its innovative features poised to set new standards in the textile industry.
