At ITMA Asia + CITME 2024, Mr. Sivakumar P, Head of Sales and Product Management at Saurer Group, welcomed attendees with insights into the company’s latest innovations in textile machinery. The event, held in Shanghai, has proven to be a significant platform for showcasing Saurer’s comprehensive range of spinning solutions.

Mr. Sivakumar highlighted the exhibition of Saurer’s full range of machinery, including advanced solutions for ring spinning, open-end spinning, twisting, and carding. He expressed particular excitement about the introduction of the new Ring Spinning Machine Zinser 51, which is designed for high energy efficiency, achieving energy savings of up to 10%. This cutting-edge machine not only operates at high speeds but also promises reduced maintenance costs.

Focusing on the African market, Mr. Sivakumar noted that Egypt stands out as a key region for Saurer. “We have established a strong position in Egypt, and our recent installations have been running successfully,” he stated. “Customers in Egypt have high expectations, and we are committed to meeting them. We see a lot of scope in Egypt and will continue to invest in this region.”

Reflecting on the current exhibition, Mr. Sivakumar remarked on the impressive turnout at ITMA Asia 2024, noting, “We are receiving a huge response from customers, with a significant increase in visitor numbers compared to previous exhibitions.” He expressed optimism about the event, seeing it as a promising opportunity for growth and collaboration within the industry.

“The market is clearly expanding, as evidenced by the engaging talks with potential customers and the high number of visits to our booth,” he added. “We hope this exhibition will be one of our most successful yet.”

Saurer Group remains dedicated to driving innovation and sustainability in the textile machinery sector, and ITMA Asia + CITME 2024 serves as a pivotal moment for showcasing these advancements.
