Over 40 international brands display at Screen Print Uzbek

More than 40 international brands from India, Turkey, Greece, Taiwan, Italy, Poland, Germany, Korea, Japan, China and US among others exhibited at the recent Screen Print Uzbek. Themed ‘New Business Horizons’, the exhibition focused on screen printing, textile printing, digital printing, sublimation printing, textiles and apparel machinery.

The show was organised by Vibgyor Expositions in cooperation with Expo Tour Group, Tashkent, headed by Esmeralda Ablyaeva. The exhibition was supported by Uzbekistan Textile and Garment Industry Association (UTGIA); Chamber of Commerce & Industry of Taskhent City, and Screenprinting & Graphics Association of India (SGAI). And Turkey based Turan Kimya,  a leading textile ink manufacturer, was the lead supporter of the show.  Garmentech Uzbek was held concurrently with Screen Print.

“The textile industry in Uzbekistan is moving on a growth path and looks forward to expand its global presence. And exhibitions such as Screen Print Uzbek / Garmentech Uzbek, focusing on garment printing and textile finishing technologies, will go a long way in giving Uzbekistan textile industry a much needed exposure to new developments in technologies offered by international brands,” Davrug D Inogamdjanov, deputy head of textile division, Uzbekistan Textile and Garment Industry Association (UTGIA), said.

Major products displayed included automatic textile screen printing machines and related IR dryers, DTG, direct to textile printing, sublimation printing papers and machines, dryers, print and cut heat transfer vinyl film, screen printing mesh, screen making chemicals, sewing equipment, dyes and chemicals for textile sector, etc.

“The show was exclusive for textile printing industry. We being textile screen printing inks manufacturers in India participated in the expo. Though the exhibition was held for the first time in this country, it was organised in a professional way and the response was fairly good. The textile Industry has huge scope in this country and I am sure the coming edition of  the show will give us more fruitful results,” S Thiruvengadathan, Lakshmi BioChem, Tirupur, one of the exhibitors, said.
