Madrid, 22 September 2022. The lifestyle week organised by IFEMA MADRID, comprising Intergift, Bisutex, Madridjoya and MOMAD was a massive success and achieved the best figures of recent years in terms of occupied exhibition space. The fairs were held simultaneously from 14 to 18 September and attracted around 35,000 visitors to the Recinto Ferial. This figure is 12% higher than that registered at the February edition which, according to Julia González, director of the four trade shows, “has rewarded the hard work and enthusiasm that the exhibitors have invested in bringing the best possible offer to this highly anticipated meeting”.
Full house
With an additional hall and a total of 40,000 square meters of exhibition space, the event was a five-day showcase for the latest and greatest in decoration, gifts, furniture, fine and fashion jewellery, accessories, watches, fashion, and footwear, occupying almost all the halls at IFEMA MADRID. An enthusiastically awaited meeting for the sector that brought together more than 1,300 companies and stimulated business while creating countless synergies and business opportunities.
Part of this success was down to a comprehensive line-up of activities, which were a great incentive for the trade who came to IFEMA MADRID for the event.
Speaker’s Corner at Intergift and the Image Forum shared by Bisutex, Madridjoya and MOMAD were opportunities to showcase current trends in each sector, and their current and future challenges. A programme that included the Bisutex, Madridjoya and MOMAD Catwalk, on which 15 brands showed their latest designs and innovations.
Driving internationalisation
The international aspect was particularly important on this occasion, with companies from 14 countries participating in both Intergift and Bisutex; 11 in Madridjoya; and 15 in MOMAD, expanding the offer and giving strong impetus to the internationalization of the event. Likewise, professional attendance accounted for an important international influx of visitors from 61 countries, increasing the demand to reach a far wider public to recover its pre-pandemic position and figures.
Intergift, Bisutex, Madridjoya and MOMAD were scheduled to coincide with Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid, also organised by IFEMA MADRID, setting the scene for a great week of fashion and lifestyle in Madrid.
