Huge Iranian rugs to be displayed at Tehran int’l fair

After eight years of intensive round the clock work, two 600-square-meter handmade Iranian carpets are about to be finished in the next several months in order to be exhibited at the International Carpet Exhibition in Tehran.

180 carpet weavers have worked every day in two different shifts to finish the huge handmade carpets. 

Two other 400 square-meter carpets have already been woven by the Iranian carpet weavers. 

The huge carpets are expected to be showcased at the upcoming Tehran International Carpet Exhibition.
