The highly anticipated Global Sourcing Expo – named one of the Top Global Fashion Expos by Forbes – will return to Sydney from 17 – 19 June 2025, before heading to Melbourne in November.
With the stage set for one of the best shows yet, the Global Sourcing Expo continues to build on the momentum gained over the past 15 years, welcoming thousands of world-leading suppliers in apparel, footwear, textiles and homeware to our local shores.
“Last year, we saw more than 4,450 visitors in attendance in Sydney during the course of the three-day sourcing extravaganza,” shares Marie Kinsella, CEO, International Expo Group and organiser of the Global Sourcing Expo.
“We also noted a 48% year-on-year increase in registrations and attendance from 2023 to 2024, highlighting growing demand for an industry event of this nature.”
The Expo enables companies to target more than 5,000 trade buyers and industry professionals all in one place.
“The show was designed to remedy some of the biggest challenges facing Australian trade buyers and industry professionals. Rather than having to undertake the costly exercise of travelling abroad to connect with potential partners, local buyers, fashion designers and professionals can connect with hundreds of global manufacturers, producers, service providers and fashion labels, as well as industry experts – all under one roof,” adds Marie. “This event is transforming sourcing as we know it.”
If Last Year Was Anything to Go By…
Feedback from exhibitors to last year’s shows was overwhelmingly positive, with many expressing that they were able to connect with the right target audience, collect valuable leads and ultimately achieve a return on investment.
Visitors also enjoyed an outstanding expo experience, with access to suppliers, manufacturers and an extensive range of products from around the world – all under one roof. The addition of insightful seminars further enriched their experience, making it an unmissable event.
This Year’s Show Promises to Delight
The show is once again backed by a number of high-profile participating associations, which Marie believes speaks volumes to the reputation that the show has built over the years.
“More than just a seal of approval, this support provides visitors with a unique opportunity to engage with associations dedicated to the development of their industry,” she says.
Additionally, the highly anticipated Sourcing Seminar Series will once again feature leading industry experts discussing key topics and trends shaping the future of fashion, sourcing and textiles. Attendees will gain actionable strategies to navigate the industry’s rapid evolution, tackle major challenges and drive business growth. This is a must-attend opportunity for anyone looking to stay ahead in this dynamic landscape.
“Driven by a distinguished cast of presenters and a range of pressing topics, the Seminar Series continues to gain traction, and 2025 promises to be our best line up yet. A snapshot of what’s to come in 2025 covers a range of sessions around trends, eCommerce, sustainability, AI in Marketing and in business, and managing suppliers to name but a few, and we can’t wait to share our official agenda in the coming weeks.”
Marie believes the 2025 shows offer the ideal platform to engage, connect, share and celebrate all things sourcing. “It has always been our goal to offer the Expo as a destination – a space where the sourcing and buying market can find the products, global partners and suppliers needed to bolster their supply chains and their business strategies,” she says. “Through our ongoing research and our relationships with key industry organisations, we will continue to develop the Expo offering so it’s always relevant and always adds value.”
This years’ Expo events will once again feature a co-located China Clothing Textile Accessories Expo, offering visitors the opportunity to explore an extensive collection of high-quality brands and products from a broad range of countries.
