Epson Launches Monna Lisa ML-18000: High-Speed, Eco-Friendly Digital Textile Printer

Epson has announced the launch of its most advanced digital textile printing solution yet, the Monna Lisa ML-18000, marking a new chapter in high-volume, high-quality, and sustainable textile production. As the textile industry accelerates its shift toward digitalisation, Epson’s latest model addresses the critical need for speed, precision, and environmental responsibility.

Designed to meet the demands of the fashion, home textile, and soft signage markets, the ML-18000 combines cutting-edge PrecisionCore® MicroTFP printhead technology, double black ink configuration, and integrated water recycling for unmatched productivity and reduced environmental impact.

“The Monna Lisa ML-18000 is a next-generation solution built for the evolving needs of textile businesses,” said Satyajeet Satpathy, Director of Sales & Marketing at Epson India. “It supports faster, cleaner, and smarter production.”

Key Highlights:

High-Speed Productivity

With 18 PrecisionCore printheads, the printer achieves speeds of up to 252 sqm/h in 2-pass mode, while the double black ink system ensures deep, rich blacks ideal for monochrome and dark-tone designs—improving both quality and cost-efficiency.

Sustainability with Water Recycling

A first for its class, the ML-18000 includes an Integrated Water Recycling Unit, filtering belt-cleaning water for reuse—reducing water usage and helping meet local environmental regulations.

Color Accuracy and Print Quality

Epson’s advanced Precision Dot Technology, including microweave, LUT optimization, and symmetrical color alignment, minimizes graininess and banding for superior image clarity—even on fine or complex patterns.

Smart Maintenance and Uptime

Equipped with automated nozzle checks, fabric wipers, ink mist extraction, and auto calibration, the ML-18000 ensures consistent output and minimal downtime, even in 24/7 production environments.

Eco-Friendly Inks

It uses Epson GENESTA Reactive Inks, which are ECO PASSPORT certified and GOTS-approved, supporting global sustainability standards.

Cloud Connectivity

The printer is compatible with Epson Cloud Solution PORT, giving real-time visibility into production performance and enabling remote diagnostics and service support.

Versatile Applications

Ideal for silk, cotton, polyester, and blends, the ML-18000 serves diverse markets from haute couture and fast fashion to home furnishings and sportswear.

Specifications at a Glance:

  • Print Speed: Up to 252 sqm/h (600×600 dpi, 2-pass)
