Elnoor Global : A young Textile Company in Nigeria with Big Dreams โ€ฆ

Interview with Muhammad Nuruddeen Adam, Chairman at Elnoor Global Nigeria

Elnoor Global Companyโ€™s history and itโ€™s a success story in the textile sector.

It all started in the year 2021 when I came back for my end-of-session holiday, well in Nigeria you can not focus only on your studies you must learn something, something that will help you after you finish your degree because itโ€™s hard to get a job here so I decided to start selling textile materials and men clothing stuff e.g caps, shoes, watches and links, thatโ€™s where Elnoor Global concept was founded.

in past years almost everything is done online, people are buying things online instead of coming to the market, and things are now getting easy. in Nigeria, we sell our products via online shops and plan to grow day by day. online shops and facebook marketing groups like Kasuwanci online help textile business owners and people to sell and buy apparel.

Why Nigeria is a good place for new textile investments? Why international companies should come and invest in Nigeriaโ€™s textile Sector?

Yeah, it will be a good idea to invest here it will make things easy for textile distributors, retailers and even the buyers inside and outside of Nigeria, and as you can see Nigeria is one of the largest economic countries in Africa and it is the center of commerce in the whole continent, and it will be profitable and the people here love new things. Nigeria is a beautiful developing country it is a place that one will love to visit and the people here are kind.

Africa is mostly an importer of textiles and apparel, 15% to 17% mostly womenโ€™s fabrics, and a few menโ€™s fabrics are made inside of Africa and 85% are imported into Africa.

What do you think about traditional Nigerian fabric designs? Which designs do you offer to your customers normally?

Well, we have different types of traditional fabric design here in Nigeria because we have different tribes here and every tribe has its own design.
So I live in the Northern part of the country and people here prefer Kaftans, Jumper, Babbar Riga south-south, and so on.
