Ecore has expanded its athletic flooring portfolio with the launch of HydroGrip Motivate, a high-performance safety flooring solution designed to provide enhanced slip resistance, ergonomic support and energy return in wet and high-traffic environments.
The new flooring system is engineered for commercial and athletic applications where safety, durability and comfort are essential, including locker rooms, bathrooms and other moisture-prone areas.
HydroGrip Motivate Combines Slip Resistance with Ergonomic Performance
According to Ecore, HydroGrip Motivate features a slip-resistant surface layer fusion bonded to a 5 mm vulcanized composition rubber (VCR) base, known as Motivate, using the company’s patented itsTru manufacturing technology.
The innovative backing delivers a force reduction of 11.9% and energy restitution of 66.6%, helping reduce impact while returning usable energy to the user during movement. The integrated VCR backing also eliminates the need for a separate underlayment, simplifying installation.

Upcycled Rubber Technology Supports Sustainability
HydroGrip Motivate is manufactured using Ecore’s proprietary itsTru technology, which transforms rubber diverted from landfills and incineration into high-performance vulcanized composition rubber through a pressurized fusion-bonding process.
The technology enables flooring surfaces to absorb impact while returning energy back to the body, improving both comfort and performance. In addition to enhancing user experience, the manufacturing process contributes to more sustainable material use by upcycling recycled rubber.
Designed for Wet Areas and High-Traffic Facilities
Available in six color options, HydroGrip Motivate is specifically developed for environments where slip resistance is a priority. The flooring system is suitable for:
