Crystal International Publishes Sustainability Report 2025

Hong Kong – Crystal International Group Limited (“Crystal International” or the “Group”) published the seventeenth Sustainability Report that summarises the positive strides on people, environment and communities in 2025. The Report illustrates the Group’s progressive transition to the next milestone – Crystal Sustainability Vision 2030 (CSV2030), and intensive efforts on all-round innovation in smart manufacturing.

The Report has been prepared with reference to leading international frameworks, namely the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) S1 General Requirements for Disclosure of Sustainability-related Financial Information and S2 Climate-related Disclosures, as well as the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Standards. The Group continued to adopt double materiality to holistically assess business sustainability from both the financial and impact perspectives, with reference to the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS).

Regenerating Nature:

  • Three-time CDP A-list in a row in Climate, A- in Water for the first disclosure
  • Climate scenario analysis on risks and opportunities per International Financial Reporting Standards IFRS S2
  • Ongoing net zero strategies:
    – Group’s solar PV with total capacity at 23 MW, around 15% of renewable electricity for the factories with solar
    – 3 factories achieved 100% renewable electricity via I-REC on a market‑based basis
    – 125 energy efficiency measures implemented
    – No coal-fired units in wholly-owned factories
    – Verified Scope 1, 2 and 3 carbon inventory against ISO 140641 standard

  • Circularity:
    – 4 factories achieved zero operational waste to landfill
    – CirClimate denim collection with biodegradable features
    –  Local textile-to-textile circular pilot in Vietnam
  • Greener chemistries, over 80% of chemicals conformed to the highest level 3 of Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals (ZDHC) Manufacturing Restricted Substance List (MRSL)

  • ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System standard certification in seven factories

Revitalising Community:

  • 525,000 trees, including 30,000 mangroves planted in 2025
  • Over 9,600 person-hours via community activities, health and medical care, education and environmental stewardship, benefitting over 62,000 individuals
  • Rebuilt workers’ homes and communities destroyed by severe flooding in Vietnam and cyclones in Sri Lanka
