AMEC and DFactory Barcelona Collaborate to Drive Industrial Innovation

AMEC (Asociación Multisectorial de Empresas) and DFactory Barcelona have joined forces to foster industrial innovation and tackle the sector’s pressing challenges. The two organizations co-organized a session aimed at developing action plans for overcoming key industrial hurdles, bringing together companies, industry experts, and policymakers in an interactive and forward-thinking environment.

The event was inaugurated by representatives from the Ministerio para la Transformación Digital y de la Función Pública, who highlighted the immense opportunities presented by the digital transition for industrial companies. Their motivational address set the stage for a dynamic exchange of ideas on innovation, technology, and sustainability.

A Collaborative Approach to Industrial Challenges

The session, held as part of the ZF | Innovative Ecosystem event, provided a platform for participants to explore solutions within four key verticals:

  • Logistics 4.0 – Addressing efficiency and automation in industrial supply chains.
  • Technology in Industry – Exploring digital transformation and cutting-edge advancements.
  • Sustainability – Finding pathways to more eco-friendly and resource-efficient production.
  • New Professional Profiles – Identifying the skills and workforce needs for the industry of the future.

The event structure included:

  • Opening Remarks: Joan Tristany, General Manager of AMEC, and Pere Navarro, Special Delegate of the State in the Free Trade Zone Consortium, officially welcomed participants and outlined the objectives of the session.
  • Innovation Dynamics: Participants engaged in collaborative exercises to develop innovative solutions under expert guidance.
  • Networking Café: Attendees had the opportunity to connect, exchange ideas, and establish new collaborations.
  • Concluding Presentations: Organizers summarized key insights and action points, followed by an optional guided tour of DFactory Barcelona.
