Texprocess 2026: AMANN Group presents six new sewing and embroidery threads in Frankfurt

Texprocess Innovation Award for our sustainable product innovation, AeoniQ™ Fil

AMANN will be presenting its new look and six new product developments at Texprocess 2026 in Frankfurt.

From 21 to 24 April 2026, AMANN will be showcasing new products in Hall 8.0, Booth H47 that address specific requirements regarding circularity, seam quality, processability and visibility. The focus is on AeoniQ™ Fil, a biodegradable sewing and embroidery thread that has been recognised with the Texprocess Innovation Award in the “Ecological Quality” category.

AeoniQ™ Fil is made from renewable cellulosic fibres and is the first nature-based sewing and embroidery thread to come close to matching the performance of synthetic alternatives in terms of sewing performance and elongation. The sewing thread – developed in collaboration with the Portuguese-Swiss joint venture AeoniQ™ – supports monomaterial designs for circular concepts and other sustainable end-of-life options when processing cellulose-based fabrics.

Being awarded with the Texprocess Innovation Award 2026 highlights the product’s relevance for circular textile solutions.

“With AeoniQ™ Fil, we are demonstrating how innovation and sustainability can be combined in a pioneering sewing thread. Winning the Texprocess Innovation Award is, for us, a strong endorsement of our commitment to developing textile solutions that create added value beyond the seam,” says Markus Nicolaus, CEO and Chairman of the Management Board of the AMANN Group.

Smart Stitch™ is also geared towards sustainability and pioneering eco-design solutions – a heat-soluble sewing thread designed to make textile recycling more efficient, engineered by Resortecs (www.resortecs.com) and now produced by AMANN.

The innovation portfolio is complemented by further high-performance new releases: Sera & Isa Reflect, retroreflective sewing and embroidery threads for enhanced visibility; Saba evo, a premium sewing thread for particularly uniform seams in high-quality applications; and Isacord Recycled UV, an embroidery thread with exceptional UV resistance for durable and sustainable embroidery in outdoor applications. Waterfil is another addition to the range: a water-soluble sewing thread designed for temporary seams.

Together, these innovations underline AMANN’s commitment to combining technological excellence, the highest standards of processing quality and responsible product development.

Beyond Threads Brand Vision

Behind the new look lies the new brand campaign “AMANN. Beyond Threads”. “Beyond Threads” sums up what makes the company group so strong: AMANN does not just sell sewing and embroidery threads. The real added value lies beyond the product itself, offering tried-and-tested solutions, reliability and genuine partnership. Worldwide.

Just in time for the trade show, the Sustainability Performance Update 2025 is being published, providing a transparent overview of progress made over the past year in the strategic focus areas of Ecological Awareness, People Matter and Profitability.

With its presence at Texprocess 2026, AMANN is highlighting one thing above all else: new sewing and embroidery threads that specifically address the industry’s technical and sustainability-related requirements.

Visitors can find AMANN from 21 to 24 April 2026 in Hall 8.0, Booth H47
