Let us know which kind of products you offer to the textile and yarn sector? 

Geosynthetic materials encompass Geotextiles, Geogrids, Geodrains and Geomembranes.
Geosynthetics are largely used in the construction industry for applications like filtration, separation, conduction/ transmissivity, reinforcement and moisture barrier.
Moreover, the above main four product classes of Geosynthetics can be combined together to give unique products called Geocomposites which are multifunctional in nature and opens a whole new era for innovation for building materials.

ALYAF Complex is a professional company in Geosynthetic solutions and technical textiles in GCC or MENA region, could you please explain more about your technical textile solutions?

Alyaf Industrial Company is the only Saudi Arabian company with such capabilities and product range for which we have a JV partner in the UK, GeoFabrics. Our technical support division puts its efforts from the design stage of a project, working with consultants/ designers and clients, till the execution stage and installation of material by providing free of cost on-site assistance and training to the contractors and installers.

ALYAF Company recently has done the Suez Canal project in Egypt. Explain more about this project and what ALYAF did in this huge project.

The new Suez Canal project involving 1.5 million square meters of ALYAF geotextiles supplied in less than 6 months without affecting supplies to other projects, is one testimony among many others of ALYAF’s ability to meet the projects challenging requirement of timely material delivery and consistent product quality.

As a manufacturer of technical textile products and yarns, how do you evaluate this sector market in the MENA region?

Technical textiles are a vast and ever-evolving field, especially with the discovery of nanotechnology and Geosynthetics is a significant part of technical textiles and Geotextiles are manufactured by a textile process. MENA region has huge potential for these products as there are a lot of challenges in civil & environmental engineering applications considering the harsh climate, and geography of the region & more importantly carbon footprint reductions that can be achieved from these new solutions are immense and also need of the hour.

How do you evaluate Textile manufacturing sector in SAUDI ARABIA in General?
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is the biggest and most important part of this region in all aspects and therefore as a Saudi manufacturer, Alyaf finds itself in the middle of opportunities and continues to supply the market with required innovative solutions successfully.
