2022 was a successful year for Desta, as we had the opportunity to take part in physical events and exhibitions. It was great to be able to showcase our products in person, as well as our new factory. Our factory has made Desta larger in capacity, product efficiency, and much more. We also had the chance to participate in two international events, both as exhibitors and visitors.

Besides these two international exhibitions, Desta attended three significant local events that targeted the industry. From those three events, Desta won two awards for its outstanding performance in the industry.
Launch of the “Let Ethiopia Produce” program: Desta was one of 81 manufacturers who were honored in the presence of Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed at the launch of the “Let Ethiopia Produce” program. Desta was acknowledged as one of the leaders by 95% productivity in south nations and nationalities.
On June 4, 2022, the Investment and Industry Forum was held in Butajira under the theme “Debub Tamrit.”
