Turkish Textile Giant, Kaya Group, Embarks on Joint Venture to Boost Exports to EU via Georgia

Representatives from Kaya Group, a prominent Turkish textile company, have initiated discussions with Georgia’s Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili to establish a textile project in Georgia. The project aims to manufacture textile products within Georgia’s borders and export them to European Union (EU) countries, enhancing economic ties between Turkey, Georgia, and the EU.

Prime Minister Garibashvili expressed optimism about the potential economic benefits of the joint venture, foreseeing enhanced business cooperation in the future. He emphasized Georgia’s favorable business environment and its high rankings in global economic indices, underlining the country’s attractiveness to investors.

The Turkish delegation highlighted Kaya Group’s commitment to extending the global reach of Turkish textiles, ensuring that high-quality products reach markets worldwide. They emphasized the importance of representing Turkish textiles successfully on the international stage, leveraging quality standards and exceptional service.

Through this collaboration, both Turkey and Georgia aim to strengthen their economic relations and capitalize on new business opportunities. The project signifies a strategic move by Kaya Group to tap into EU markets by utilizing Georgia’s advantageous position as a gateway to Europe.
