ANEX 2024, the 9th Asia Nonwovens Exhibition and Conference, organized by the Asia Nonwoven Fabrics Association (ANFA) and the Taiwan Nonwovens Fabrics Industry Association (TNFIA), is set for May 22nd to 24th, 2024, at TaiNex 1. Ms. Chien Chia-Ching, TNFIA’s President, attended the All Nippon Nonwovens Association (ANNA) annual general assembly to garner support for the event.
To enhance nonwoven industry exchange between Taiwan and Japan, Ms. Chien Chia-Ching, President of TNFIA, led the delegation to the annual general assembly of All Nippon Nonwovens Association (ANNA), on July 14th, at the invitation of ANNA.
The visit intended to draw lessons from the association’s successful operations and experience, as well as promote the upcoming ANEX 2024 in Taiwan. The goal was to strengthen collaboration with Asian partners and boost the global competitiveness of the region’s nonwoven fabrics sector.
During the visit, Ms. Chien received substantial backing from key figures, including Mr. Kazuaki Baba, Secretary-General of the ANFA, Mr. Masato Miki, President of ANNA, and Mr. Hiroaki Kanai, former President of ANFA/ANNA and a current board member.
Simultaneously, Ms. Chien led a delegation of association directors to actively interact with leading Japanese firms like KANAI, TEIJIN, DAIWA SPINNING, UNITIKA, TOYOBO, and MARUBENI. This effort aimed to facilitate knowledge exchange, extend global cooperation networks, drive industry technology and market growth, and attract prominent Japanese enterprises to participate as exhibitors at the ANEX 2024, garnering substantial support and engagement.
Nonwoven fabrics have extensive applications, with Asia leading global production and markets. Over 300 booths are already booked for next year’s ANEX 2024 exhibition. Interested companies are urged to register promptly.
