The Importance of Physical Contact with Fashion at MOMAD

• The event, which will take place on September 17, 18 and 19, will be a unique opportunity to meet again Madrid, July 19, 2021 – MOMAD, the International Fashion, Textile, Footwear and Accessories Fair is a reality, and during the dates in which it is held, it will become a space where exhibitors and professionals can once again feel the excitement of fashion and boost the sector.

The event, which has become the most important in southern Europe, will host more than 150 companies that have already confirmed their presence, among which the participation of international companies stands out in this new on-site edition.

Thus, MOMAD will bring together exhibitors from Colombia, France, Greece, Italy, Poland, Portugal, the United Kingdom and Turkey.

With this in mind, MOMAD has developed the “Because It Makes Sense to Return” campaign to motivate, encourage and boost the fashion industry’s desire to strengthen its business and the sector. MOMAD seeks to excite, touch the heart and, above all, to raise awareness of the importance of the fashion, textile, footwear and accessories sector.

Sense of touch in fashion The campaign alludes to the five senses through which fashion is perceived and felt. One of the most special is touch, the desire to again physically feel the emotion of every quality of fashion. Touching a piece of clothing, an accessory or a fabric becomes a unique sensation, which can only be perceived upon physical contact.

This is where the importance of this sense linked to design, fabrics and materials and fashion creations lies. The texture of an item, or the impact of that first time you encounter it, generates a special bond that only occurs through physical contact.

To understand fashion, footwear or accessories it is vital to establish that contact, that journey that MOMAD will favor through perception through one’s senses. This sensory experience can be experienced at MOMAD, from September 17 to 19 in Hall 8 of IFEMA MADRID. The fair will be held in a hybrid format and will be the best reflection of the momentum that will favor the return to activity in this sector.
