The 25th DOMOTEX asia/CHINAFLOOR (DACF) was held from July 26 to 28, 2023 at the National Convention and Exhibition Center (Shanghai, China). This exhibition is the flagship flooring professional exhibition in the Asia Pacific region, showcasing various types of flooring materials and paving technology products, such as carpets, flooring, wooden flooring, elastic flooring, stone, ceramic tiles, floor coatings, ground renovation and maintenance equipment.

The exhibition covers an area of 300,000 square meters, with 130,000 attendees and 2500 exhibitors and participating brands. The carpet company in Iran can be said to be the biggest highlight of this exhibition, with a variety of beautifully crafted carpets that feel comfortable, and a continuous stream of customers coming to visit and inquire. In our mind, Iranian carpets are world-renowned and are stunning artworks, as they have extremely strict requirements in material selection, color matching, pattern design, and weaving techniques.
The authentic Persian carpet is completely hand woven. It is made of exquisite materials, usually selected from three types of materials: silk, cotton, and wool. The more silk is used, the more valuable it becomes. Dyes are extracted from natural plants and minerals, such as pomegranate peel, walnut shell, madder, sweet clover, indigo, potassium alum, and so on.
The dye extracted in this way can maintain its color for a long time, and many carpets woven hundreds of years ago in Iran still have very bright colors. However, with the development of modern industry, the previous manual production methods were both time-consuming and labor-intensive, so the current production process has become more mechanized.
Of course, higher requirements have also been placed on the raw materials for carpet production. Currently, the acrylic fibers we provide can fully meet the production requirements of high-end carpets, in order to maintain the international reputation of Iran’s high-quality carpets.
In terms of the product itself, both woven carpets and handmade textile carpets have the characteristics of flat carpet surface, comfortable foot feel, and wear resistance and durability. Machine woven patterns are not as casual and natural as hand woven carpets, but the patterns are neat and delicate. The raw material of carpet, acrylic fiber, is a Synthetic fiber, which has the following characteristics:
1. Cationic characteristics: Acrylic fibers have a positive charge on their surface, which can adsorb negatively charged bacteria, viruses, and other microorganisms, and have good antibacterial functions;
2. High strength: The tensile strength of acrylic fiber is higher than that of nylon, polyester and other Synthetic fiber, with excellent tensile property;
3. Heat resistance: Acrylic fiber is resistant to high temperatures and can maintain stability in high temperature environments below 150 ℃;
4. UV resistance: Acrylic fibers can effectively resist the erosion of ultraviolet rays and have good weather resistance.
