Qingdao Head Products Int’l Company, was built in 2005 as a hangers exporter company in China. That time, lots of link retailers and big fashion retailers need a good reputation and good communication ability company to help them find the right suppliers from China. I learned international business rules for years and worked in the hanger factory.
I believed that I should be Okay to offer business solutions for these clients. So we launch this professional coat hangers company. We did well. Now except sell hangers, we also offer service of “sustainable recycles hangers to ship project”. To help big fashion retail companies to fulfil hangers reusing and plastic waste deductions.
What is Qingdao range of products? Which countries are your target markets for export?
My company deal with all kinds of clothes hangers business. Chinacoathanger.com is our website has related information. Such as wooden hangers, metal hangers, plastic hangers, Eco-friendly hangers and custom design hangers…… We supply orders worldwide, but mainly the orders come from European, Northern American, Japan, AU, Korean and UAE at the beginning. In recent years, the market began to reach Brazil, Russia, Poland, North Africa, South Asia. Now the European market can cover about 75% of the orders, the USA can cover 7%, Japan covers about 5%. The left countries together are about 13%.
How do you evaluate textile and fashion hanger manufacturing industry in China and globally?
Hangers manufacturing industry is a very small business project in China. It was guided by the local government in some typical city, help people to improve the quality of life and service textile industry.
Textile business is one of the main industries in China. It has large requirements for hangers. That helps the hangers industry progress fast and stable.
Now Chinese hangers factories has very high production ability and cost control monitor system. Such as my factory of wooden hangers can finish 100.000 pcs hangers per day if needed. Chinese hangers Manufacturers can provide the hangers order requirements from all over the world.
But now a fashion trend, order volume and Chinese cost changed. Low quality and cost Textile orders of the world seem left the Chinese market for cost control. So this part plastic assembles hangers orders might be moved out from China soon in the coming years. I guess should reach 55%_70% of clothes in the coming 3-5 years. China will be the centre of the hanger production of the world. for Africa/ southern America, it might be the right time to enter this business range if some wise businessman pays attention to this industry.

As a leader textile hanger company in China, how do you evaluate the textile and fashion industry in the Middle East and North Africa and its potentials for Future?
Recently I attended the show in Africa to check the chance of hangers production. I think it is a very good chance for North Africa to have this industry. My company has such services and I helped some clients bought hangers production machines and start a factory.
What is the problem the hangers investor in North Africa or the Middle East need to ready before they start?
Raw material: North Africa is lack of forest, so normally imported from other countries. Need to make sure the raw material is enough and easy to get. From my experience, it’s no big problem.
Metal accessories: at the beginning can import from China.
Working machine: can import from China. 2nd hand or new one are easy for my company to help.
Tec. Workers training: make sure the key tec should be a stable employee. our company can help training.
Marketing: have to pay attention to this. Need some basic business ways to sell the hangers.
Investment: USD 100000 is enough.
COVID 19 shows us we should rely more on sustainability and green products, what do you think about sustainable hanger market? Do you have any product or plan for producing green and sustainable products?
Yes. COVID19 give trouble to textile retailers. That influenced the hangers business step by step. And green products are a new quick trend. We already entered this range 3 or 4 years ago. We got some solutions already. In fact, when we found the huge world orders give big pressure to the forest, we started to push eco-friendly green clothes hangers from 12 years ago. It is not a new career, Now I am glad that more and more people agree with this and try to do something.
How was the effect of Pandemic on China textile industry?
In fact Chinese national market didn’t feel a big difference. As you know here C19 was well controlled.
But for exportation textile market. It does have got some influence is not very positive. Orders are slower than before. From the market reply, textile orders were deducted about 10-20%. But it is not government data. I had not got such news. So hangers orders exportation were postponed about 3-4 months. Now the market seems active again. We keep eyes on it. On line, the business will be better and better. So hangers requirements might smaller in the future.
