MOMAD, the International Exhibition of Fashion, Footwear and Accessories Returns to IFEMA MADRID

• Returning has made a lot of sense at MOMAD, as this edition has reached 6,000 visitors.

• With nearly 1,100 companies and brands participating in Intergift, Bisutex, MadridJoya and MOMAD, IFEMA MADRID has been visited by 35,625 professionals from 85 countries.

• Julia González is assuming the management of Intergift, Bisutex and MadridJoya shows

Madrid, September 28, 2021 – On September 19 the MOMAD fair closed its doors at IFEMA MADRID, together with the Intergift, Bisutex and MadridJoya shows. Between them, a total of 35,625 visitors from 85 countries attended, with figures very similar to those of previous editions prior to the health crisis. This confirms the belief that professionals of fashion, decoration, gifts, jewelry, costume jewelry and accessories invested in these essential commercial events to recover their pulse.

Possessing a very positive balance, in addition to the large number of professionals, the participants especially valued the quality and high rate of commercial exchanges, which exceeded their expectations.

With this multi-sector event, Madrid has once again become the epicenter of fashion, decoration, costume jewelry and jewelry with the simultaneous celebration of these shows, which have brought together the offer of 1,100 companies and brands, presenting the Autumn-Winter 2021/22 collections, especially oriented toward the Christmas and Epiphany campaigns, as well as Spring-Summer 2022. In addition, the event coincided with MBFWMadrid, which meant the total occupation of 7 pavilions of the IFEMA MADRID Exhibition Center and the presentation of and information related to novelties, which generated great synergies and business opportunities.

MOMAD, back with a bang

This event reached 6,000 visitors in Pavilion 8 and created amazing sensations in the return of the face-to-face format. The fair boasted leading exhibitors in fashion, textile, footwear and accessories that presented their Spring Summer 22 and Autumn Winter 21-22 collections, with exhibitors such as Bestseller Group, the Colombian Men’s Fashion platform Manly Week or footwear brands such as Pons Quintana, Mascaró, Mireia Playà or 4ccccees, a space dedicated to Sustainable Fashion in the Sustainable Experience area and brands of the bridal and ceremony sector, Urban, Contemporary, Casual and Boho-Chic.

This confirms the need for the sector to come together again, as confirmed at this edition by the presence of 260 national and international brands from Belarus, Colombia, Denmark, Poland, Spain, Greece, Italy, France, the United Kingdom,

Turkey, Portugal and Canada. This was in addition to a great number of visitors from various countries such as Germany, Saudi Arabia, Argentina, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cameroon, Chile, China, Colombia, Denmark, Dominican Republic, Egypt, United Arab Emirates, United States and France, among others.

This includes MOMAD 4.0 Forum by Correos, a space that hosted more than 50 speakers in different talks, conferences and round tables.

Julia González is taking over from María José Sánchez, who is moving on to direct new projects at IFEMA MADRID. González will head the management of Intergift, Bisutex and MadridJoya, thus taking the helm of the Fashion, Beauty, Decoration and Lifestyle sectors organized by IFEMA MADRID.

With more than 25 years of experience in the trade fair field, Julia González will lead the management of these three shows, in addition to those she was already in charge of: MOMAD in its two annual editions, 1001Bodas, Salón Look and Salón Look Chile.

In the month of February 2022, IFEMA MADRID will once again shape the great global event of trends, fashion and consumer goods with the simultaneous holding of Intergift, from February 2 to 6; Bisutex, from February 3 to 6; MadridJoya, from February 3 to 6; and MOMAD from February 4 to 6.
