MOMAD February 2020 will feature an outstanding programme of technical and professional workshops

  • The Momad Forum, sponsored by Correos (the Spanish postal service) will analyse challenges in the fashion sector such as omni-channel sales, online marketing, opening physical shops, window dressing and new sales channels, among others.
  • On Friday, 7 February, Justine Hamelin from Peclers, will give us a preview of new trends in Womens Fashion Spring/Summer 2021

The next edition of MOMAD, which will take place at IFEMA from 6 to 8 February, will feature an outstanding programme of technical and professional workshops. The Momad Forum, sponsored by Correos (the Spanish postal service) will take place in Hall 12, with interesting talks analysing the main questions and challenges facing the fashion industry.

On 6 February (Thursday) at 12.00 Andres de España, from 3 DIDS, will explain “how to sell Omnichannel in a controlled way; at 12.45 Carmen Bazán, from the Seville School of Fashion will give a talk about “opening physical shops”; at 13.30 Raúl de la Vega, from Correos will talk about how “Correos can help you to boost you income via other channels”. At 15.45, Pau Lepage, from TLG will give a talk entitled “20 Tips to boost your online sales in 2020”; at 16.30 Juan Carlos Lancha, from the Seville School of Fashion will talk about “Window dressing per campaign; and at 17.15 Rubén Blanco, from HEY AV will talk about “The latest sales channel: Instagram Shopping”.

New trends in Womens Fashion

 On Friday, 7 February at 11.30, Justine Hamelin from Peclers, will preview new trends in women’s fashion for Spring / Summer 2021, with the theme “Be strong, be feminine, be sensual, be yourself!” In a world which is losing its way, its time to take things more slowly. To explore in the richness of the classics to appreciate their thoughtfulness. To soften codes, to celebrate the body to reveal strong, sexy or romantic femininity.

Justine Hamelin, Style director – Women’s Fashion began her career as an art buyer in an advertising agency after studying fashion design, where she developed extensive production, iconographic research, printing, illustration and photography skills. She then became a costume designer and gained experience in theatres such as the Opéra Garnier and the Théâtre du Châtelet, in film and advertising before training as a collections coordinator and joining Peclers Paris.

This Friday at 13.00, Maite Albañil from Tiendología and Manuel Amat from MA Retail Consultancy will talk about “The six key elements needed to build a successful fashion company”. At 15.00 Blanca Delgado, from the Seville School of Fashion will give a talk on “Neuromarketing”. At 17.15 Juan Enrique Trivados from Mediterranean Fashion Beach will present the Young Talent Swimwear Fashion Catwalk.

MOMAD will bring together more than 800 national and international fashion brands with menswear, womenswear, footwear and accessories. Once again it will become the benchmark industry event in Southern Europe and will offer the fashion trade an opportunity to come together in a great setting to discover what’s new for next season’s style and occasion sector. It will take placefrom Friday to Saturday continuously from 9.30 to 19 and on the last day until 18 in Halls 12 and 14 at IFEMA.
